That’s one less bit of plastic in landfill!
We’re serious about reducing what goes to landfill so in 2022, our Palmerston store is going zero waste. What does that mean?
Basically, it means that everything that goes in or out of that store can be reused or recycled. We’re getting rid of all remaining single-use plastic and only using products and packaging that can be reused or recycled.
Find out how our zero-waste journey is going on our blog
We don’t just sell stuff that’s good for the environment; we use the money we make to do good for the world. Double the impact!
We support Australia’s Bee the Cure because no bees = no life.
Whenever we sell a beeswax product in our stores, online or at a market stall, we donate $1 to Bee the Cure.
It’s our way of showing that it really is our beeswax!
Whenever we sell our marine grade, stainless steel laundry pegs we donate a portion of that sale to One Tree Planted. One dollar = one tree.
Planting trees and getting rid of those ugly plastic pegs? Yes please!
There’s nothing more important to us than oxygen so we support One Tree Planted. Each tree planted in Australia is restoring forests after the Black Summer Bushfires, creating habitat corridors for koalas lost to urban sprawl, and promoting native biodiversity.
